In practice
There are only a handful of companies like ours, maybe twenty in all of the Netherlands. And of those twenty, we’re one of just six authorized to certify boilers. Maintaining steam boilers is such a specialized job that you can only truly learn it in practice.
That’s why we don’t focus on what diplomas you have. What matters most is that you enjoy working with your hands and that you’re good at it. Above all, you should be excited to start a career in a field that makes people ask, “Wait, what exactly is it that you do?”
You'll go everywhere
As a maintenance technician, you’ll be working all across the Randstad region. You’ll visit a wide variety of companies: food manufacturers, laundries, hospitals, tank storage facilities, animal feed producers and large industrial enterprises. So there’s plenty of variety!
Our work can be demanding at times, especially when deadlines are tight. Project lead times are short, which means you can count on excellent work preparation. And you’ll have colleagues who truly act like teammates — always ready to lend a hand. Not everyone here is named Van der Mark, but we all feel like family in this company.
