A family business with steam in its veins
In 1969, Herman van der Mark began cleaning oil-fired boilers in the Westland region. At the time this type of boilers were widely used in greenhouse horticulture tot heat the glasshouses. Half a century later Van der Mark Ketelonderhoud is still active in horticulture but now also works across many other industries beyond Westland.
Our clients
Our major clients can be found in the industry, in ports (tank storage and transshipment companies), the food sector, the animal feed sector, hospitals, laundries and dry cleaners. These are clienst for whom the steam boiler is an essential link in their business process. They do not want to take any risks with periodic maintenance. They want the certainty that comes from an experienced and punctual maintenance company.
Minimal downtime of the process
That's the kind of maintenance company we are at Van der Mark. We understand that downtime of your primary process must be kept to an absolute minimum. Our strenght lies in our ability to minimize boiler shutdowns, necessary for maintenance and inspections. As a main contractor we are used tot taking on that responsibility. We coordinate all necessary partners and ensure a schedule that is reliable and realistic, houd by hour. Because what we commit to, we deliver.
Experienced, motivated and well trained
We are ready for this with our experienced and motivated team of employees, currently 25 men and woman strong. We are still a family business now under the leadership op Erwin van der Mark. Together we form a close team that stays up to date with the latest developments and we work in full compliance with all laws and regulations.
New location at De lier
To manage our growth effectively we moved at the end of 2019 to a more modern facility in De Lier. Located at the Leehove industrial park, just 500 meters from the A20 (highway), we have all the facilities needed to perform our work: a workshop, warehouse, offices, a training room and an outdoor area. From here we can quickly reach our clients throughout the Netherlands and sometimes even beyond.
