Our Company building

When constructing our new facility in De lier, energy efficient was high on the list of key criteria. The building itself requires less energy and with the installation of solar panels we can cover a large part of our energy needs. 

Solar Panels

To further emphasize our commitment to social responibility we have equipped our roof with solar panels. These solar panels allow us to generate enough power for all daily activities in our workshop and offices. In this way we reinforce our corporate social responsibility with a sustainable approach. 

Sponsorship

As a company from the Westland region it goes without saying that we want to be visible here. We achieve this by sponsoring associations and events that are connected to the Westland. 

Employees

We treat our employees the way we would like to be treated ourselves. After all our people are our true capital. We rely on their dedication during uncoventional hours which is why they can count on excellent working conditions and benefits. We are committed to training, development and safety. 

Fewer Kilometers

We critically assess the use of resources and materials. By thoroughly documenting the steam boiler installations many issues can be resolved over the phone. Hereby we are reducing the need for travel and lowering our carbon footprint. 

Driving electric 

Driving electric is becoming hard to ignore. That is why we have installed a dual charging station in our parking lot where both our clients and our own employees can charge their cars. 

Recyling

Since July 1 2021, a deposit has been added to small plastic bottles, and since April 1 2023, also to cans. The goal? To ensure that these bottles and cans don’t end up as litter in nature. This helps reduce environmental damage and cleanup costs. When you return your bottle or can, you receive €0.15 in deposit back.

Since 2023, we have our own deposit bottle in the hall! Everyone can place their bottles and cans inside it and they will then be properly returned to Statiegeld Nederland.

What happens to the deposit money?

The deposit money we receive goes to the Van der Mark Ketelonderhoud Staff Association. As a group we can use this money to organize fun activities together. Of course, it also helps make sure that bottles and cans don’t end up as litter. A great solution for everyone!

Charities

At Van der Mark Ketelonderhoud, we believe it’s very important to do our part for good causes. We support charities in various ways, but we’d like to highlight our most recent contribution in particular:

On June 3rd, fourteen men from the Westland region set off by bike from the Netherlands to France. They covered an incredible 1,600 kilometers in just eleven days! Their destination in France had one goal: to conquer the Tourmalet. Every single meter they cycled was dedicated to everyone fighting the terrible disease, cancer.

As Van der Mark Ketelonderhoud, we were proud to contribute not only a generous financial donation but also to sponsor the cycling outfits for these amazing men so they could start their impressive journey properly equipped. Flags up, jerseys on, caps ready, and off they go. Nothing but respect for these heroes.
